Upcoming Event

PADSN are delighted to announce that the first of their popular Deputyship Development Days for 2019 will be held at The Studio, Manchester, M1 1FN on the 3rd April.

These events are aimed at teams working in local authorities who manage the property and affairs of individuals under deputyship and appointeeship. The events are also open to other professionals from across all sectors who manage finances and protect the vulnerable.

We will be looking at Mediation and Advocacy as well as investments and welfare benefits.

David Lockwood, Public Sector Development Manager, is delighted to be holding the event in the north west for the first time: “we have held events all over the country, but we have listened to those in the north west who have asked us to hold one here.” He continued, “we look forward to discussing various topics, however we will be focussing on mediation and advocacy looking at how these subjects help those who manage individuals affairs.”

We look forward to seeing as many attend as possible.

“Today has been very Informative…lots of information I wouldn’t have got anywhere else…doing our job is quite unusual, quite specialist, so it’s rare to other people who do the same job as you do” Public Authority Employee

“First and foremost the networking…we can meet people from local authorities we might not have liaised with previously” Michael Culver, Partner at Bolt Burdon Solicitors
